Great Workouts for Baseball Players

Some of the best pitching workouts take time and effort. A good variation to the standard lunging exercise is by holding on to a heavy disc plate while executing the lunge.  As the person lunges down, the arms are then twisted going over the front leg.  The entire shoulder should be taking a 90 degree turn.  Perform the twists on alternate sides in the entire lunge pattern.

Cable rowing movements are also efficient baseball pitching workouts.  Sit with extended legs in a low cable machine. Hold the attachment keeping the torso in a straight position.  Pull towards the belly then let the arms out without leaning forward.  

Performing raises, both frontal and lateral can help strengthen the arm muscles.  Light dumbbells can accompany these exercises to enhance the pressure needed for desired muscle works.  

Improving pitching skills is achievable with these baseball workouts for pitchers.  Achieve dynamic flexibility and functional strength to become the best baseball pitcher.
